Aliquoting of serum, plasma, urine, saliva, swab medium is performed under BSL2 conditions, with the possibility of automation for high throughput. Aliquoting of stool samples takes place under anaerobic conditions.
Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are isolated with validated methods that have been optimized for maximum yield and viability. Cells are cryopreserved in standardized media, without serum, optimized for minimum post-thaw apoptosis.
DNA is routinely extracted from whole blood. DNA can also be extracted from other biological matrices, including cells. DNA is fit for purpose for all types of downstream applications, including long read sequencing.
